 The waves rumble like the jets that soar overhead as the dark rain clouds make their advances on the city. Stark and polar opposite worlds of man and sea converge together and surfers are left in the middle waiting for the chaos to become groomed and formed in hopes of momentary pleasure. Fleeting and brief are the times when the stars align, but when it happens it does so in spectacular fashion. There were moments of glory this past winter where the reward was a little extra sweet for a select crew that call LA home. Cinematographer and director Quinn Graham, assisted by water cinematographer Joe Duerr,  link up with Taro Watanabe, Andrew Jacobson, Shane Borland, and Frankie Harrer as they score waves up and down the Santa Monica Bay.
