Nonfiction 001 is a limited publication, printed at a small printshop in LA, featuring 20+ artists, and is a self-funded project. Showcasing coastal Los Angeles county, this softcover book contains 96 pages, and is ordered geographically from south to north. Nonfiction 001 shines a spotlight on the diverse individuals of Los Angeles County—skaters, surfers, friends and foes, artists, posers, tattoo enthusiasts, spliff rollers, beach strollers, sandy sleepers, wetsuit wearers, lot lizards, content creators, chakra aligners, burrito lovers, tanline flaunters, cappuccino drinkers, and many more. Arrive at LAX and head north along the coast. Observe the people around you. All contributors to this publication are LA County-based artists who generously allowed us to feature their work in this issue.
